Jammu, July 19: A Grand Gurmat Smagam/victory function today organized by newly elected members of District Gurudwara Parbandak Committee (DGPC) under the chairmanship of Mohant Manjit Singh ji of Sheromani Dera Nangali Sahib Poonch at Gurdwara Rani Talab Deigina.
According to press release, members of various districts of Jammu province including Jammu, Samba, Kathua, Rajori, Poonch , Udhampur, Reasi, Ramban, Doda and Kishtwar districts participated in the said function.
Many senior political and leaders of various Sikh organization of Jammu and Kashmir also participated including Sheromani Akali Dal, Sheromani Youth Akali, AISSF , Bhai Kanaya Nishkam Seva Society ,Sikh Naujawan Sabha ,Sikh Welfare society under the banner of Sikh United Front.
Rangil Singh Ex. Minister and chairman MBS college congratulated the newly elected DGPC members from Jammu province with the blessing of Dera Nangali Sahib Poonch and advised to serve community without any self interest in the religious and other field of life.
Mohant Manjit Singh ji stressed upon the newly elected DGPC members to be ready for every sacrifice for the sake of community and work with dedication honestly and also provide their service according to the Sikh Gurudwara act 1973. Implementation of Punjabi language, inclusion of Sikh members in the J&K service selection board and in the public serve commission and also fight for the other rights of Sikh community for getting justice. |
