Spiritual leader Hajji Gulam Qadir passes away 7/24/2015 11:11:28 PM Early Times Report BHALESSA, July 24: The spiritual leader Hajji Gulam Qadir Butt passed away on Friday after a cardiac arrest at his native place Gundoh. He was 78 years .Known as ambassador of peace and goodwill, he was highly respected by all peoples, leaders and governments for his endeavours in promoting brotherhood and harmony in erstwhile Doda district. Under his leadership, the community has achieved remarkable social, economic and educational success across the Chenab Valley. He was laid to rest at grave yard Gundoh where 10000 mourners attended the funeral of their spiritual leader. In 1983 he opened first Madrasa with the name Akhyaar Pur Jakyas, Gundoh of erstwhile Doda district in which students of whole state are studying and presently 1300 students are on roll.
