CCI-Jammu felicitates Regional Passport Officer on receiving 'appreciation award' 7/25/2015 12:26:17 AM Early Times Report Jammu, July 24: Chamber of Commerce and industry (CCI) Jammu today felicitated Rajinder Kumar Gupta, Regional Passport Officer who recently has been awarded a Certificate for runner up amongst all the Passport Officers (37) and Passport Seva Kendra (77) for achieving high standards of Passport Service Delivery to the citizens during 2014-15, in a function held here at Chamber House. Regional Passport Officer Rajinder Gupta received said award from by Sushma Swaraj, Union External Affairs Minister during a Passport Officers Conference held in New Delhi on the other day. Danesh Rana IPS IGP Jammu attended the occasion as chief guest while Rakesh Gupta President CCI Sham Lal Langer, Sr. Vice President CCI also shared the dais with special invitees. Chief guest IGP Jammu Danesh Rana in his address appreciated the efforts of Rajinder Gupta Regional Passport Officer for making the working of the Passport Office Jammu hassle free. He also lauded the role of Chamber of Commerce & Industry to hld such an occasion as a part of social corporate responsibility. Rajinder Gupta, Regional Passport Officer also addressed the gathering and said if anyone has any problem regarding issuance of Passport, he /she may visit his office and further assured that their problems will be solved at the earliest possible time. Earlier President Rakesh Gupta in his welcome address highlighted the achievements of the Regional Passport Officer Rajinder Kumar Gupta who on his deputation as Regional Passport Officer Jammu since February 2012 has brought people friendly changes in issuance of Passport.
