Power shutdown 8/7/2015 10:44:50 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 7: The power supply to Kathua, Hiranagar, Samba, Bari-Brahmana, Bishnah, Billawar, Mahanpur and adjoining areas including Industrial areas shall be affected onAugust 9 , 2015 in wake of carrying out the work of installation testing and commissioning of Directional O/C E/F Relay elements in 220 KV line C&R panels in the Control Room. For the purpose 220 KV Hiranagar-Gladni and Hiranagar-Sarna Transmission lines at 320 MVA, 220/132/66 KV Grid Station Hiranagar would be shut. However the generation of SEWA-II Power House shall remain unaffected from Grid Station, Hiranagar and ensured by back feeding them from Grid Station Gladni through Grid Station Bari-Brahmana-II on 132 KV level. The shutdown will depend upon the loading status of Grid Station Hiranagar and Generation schedule of Sewa-II power house.
