ReT teachers’ demands should be considered: Ambardar | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 7: Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) Member of Legislative Council (MLC) Surinder Ambardar today said that government should consider and think over all the genuine concerns of the ReT teachers who have been protesting from last few days against the education ministry’s decision to conduct the screening test of all the ReT teachers to ascertain the genuineness of their educational degrees. Ambardar said that government should come up with a mechanism where in only those teachers who they think don't possess genuine degrees should be asked to undergo screening test so that the entire fraternity of ReT teachers is not put to any kind of unnecessary screening and tests as we need our teachers to be teaching in class rooms and not protesting on roads. He also appealed to the ReT teachers to come up with a proper and genuine solution document which can be discussed with the education ministry and further added that he was hopeful that some kind of solution shall come out if things are to be approached in proper manner. |
