Jammu, Aug 7: Vishav Hindu Parishad and Baba Amarnath and Buda Amarnath Yatri Niyas members today called upon Division Commissioner Jammu Pawan Kotwal and apprised him about various problems, being faced by border people. According to press release, the delegation led by Dr. Ramakant Dubey apprised about sufferings of people of the border villages especially around Pargwal area.
On the demand of the delegation a team of senior officers was ordered to visit the affected areas, asking Director Health Services Jammu to deploy additional ambulances so that the immediate health facilities are provided to these people.
The delegation also requested the Divisional Commissioner to convene a meeting of concerned officers and Niyas regarding the coming Shri Budda Amarnathji Yatra starting from 18th August 2015. Round the clock security with adequate facilities like water, sanitation, power etc. to Yatries especially in Ram Temple Purani Mandi and Geeta Bhavan were also requested to be got arranged during yatra period. |
