Early Times Report Kishtwar, Aug 7: Several members of civil society of District Kishtwar today called on SP Kishtwar Yougal Manhas and discussed various issues related to Kishtwar District. As per reports, the civil society appreciated the move of district police against the drug menace, anti social elements and traffic violators and further raised the issue of need of repairing of flood lights installed inside historical 'Chowgan' to keep vigil on anti social elements during evening time. The members also showed resentment over the movement of vehicles inside the ground and should be banned by deploying police officials at entry and exit points to check the entry of these vehicles. Keeping in view of ongoing Machail yatra and Independence Day, they urged senior police officer over arrangements for visiting pilgrims and due deployment of security personal. They also urged police deployment near tuition centres to check the eve teasing. Giving patient hearing, SP Kishtwar assured the deputation that the issues raised by them will be looked on top priority basis. The delegation comprised of PAF President Shakir Saddiqui, Hans Raj Butyal, Ashok Parihar, Shashi badyal, Farooq Ahmed Mugal and others. |
