Jammu, Aug 7: Some unidentified burglars last night broke into a temple and a mosque at Kothi Sarot area falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Gharota and decamped with donation boxes from the said religious places.
Police sources said that the thefts came to light today when the devotees and clerics went to perform religious rituals this morning and found door thrown open and donation boxes from both religious places found missing. "The devotees and clerics from respective religious places reported the matter to police, police said.
Police said that a case in this connection has been registered against unknown persons however no arrest has been made when last reports came in. |
