Panic gripped after suspect found at Chak Bhagtha | | | Early Times Report
Katra, Aug 7: Panic gripped the Chak Bhagtha in Karkyal area after some locals claimed to have noticed a suspect moving in the area. Police spokesman said that today early in the morning some resident of Chak Bhagta caught a suspicious person who was roaming in their area. "On information, a police party led by in-charge police post Karkyal rushed to the spot and brought the person to Police Station Katra during questioning the accused identified himself as Showkat Ali (19) son of Ali Jan of Narrian Pind Nowshera Rajouri. Police said that the mother of individual was contacted through mobile phone by Katra Police and as per the statement of his mother that his son is not mentally sound and had recently come to Katra for work at one Dhaba near Matyal Petrol Pump. During the investigations of the case, police enquired from Dhaba owner who said that the boy left Dhaba last night at about 9pm. After confirming the details and whereabouts of the suspect, the police found nothing objectionable from the boy and against him and thus was handed over to his known. |
