BSF School organizes inter school debate competition 8/7/2015 11:03:56 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug7 : An Inter school debate competition was organized on the eve of Golden Jubilee celebration of BSF in the school premises. Rakesh Sharma IG BSF, Jammu FTR was the Chief Guest on the occasion. The luminaries gracing the occasion included officers of the force, principles of the various reputed CBSE schools and many prominent citizens of J&K State. 16 reputed schools of the State enthusiastically participated in the competition. A brief cultural program was presented by the students of the school. Addressing the audience, Dr S S Khokhar, Principal BSF School highlighted golden history of BSF and also stressed the increasing role of public in handling Border issues along with the ever dedicated BSF Force. The first prize was bagged by MahavirSingh of DPS whereas Shivam Bhatyar of APS Nagbani and Shivani of APS Akhnoor was adjudged 2nd and 3rd respectively. DPS Jammu won overall trophy and consolation team trophy went to Jodhamal Public School. Rakesh Sharma Chairman of the school gave away prizes to the winners. He congratulated Dr S S Khokhar for providing a platform to the students to express themselves.
