REASI, Aug 7 : Government Higher Secondary School Reasi clinched volleyball title in the inter-school under-19 girls' competition of district Reasi held under the banner of Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) at General Zorawar Sports Stadium, here today. In the final, HSS Reasi girls outplayed Government Higher Secondary School Pouni in straight sets. In the meantime, the kabaddi title went to Government HSS Bharakh, who trounced HSS Pouni 28-09 in a one-sided contest. The kho-kho event won by Government HSS Arnas defeating HSS Bharakh 10-05 in the final.
The competition officiated by the technical penal including Ashok Kumar, Tour Kumar, Ajay Kumar Billa, Ajay Kumar, Manzoor Hussain, Pradeep Nag and Opinder Pal Singh. The finals were witnessed besides others by Assistant Director Employment, Sulakshna Thakur, Assistant Labour Commissioner, Seema Kharyal and Sports Officer, Indira Khussoo. |
