NAGROTA, August 7: Bahujan Samaj Party today held a meeting at Suketar Nagrota constituency under the chairmanship of its State President Tarsem Khullar.
Various issues were discussed in the meeting including the issue of changing the name of Baba Saheb Dr B.R.Ambedkar road by the Government from Vikram Chowk to Railway Head.
It was stated by the Khullar that this is an unholy plan of the Government to divert the attention of the peoples from the burning issue of State as well as Jammu region.The members protested strongly against the proposed change of name of road by the Government as this will hurt the sentiments of each and every Citizen of Jammu and Kashmir and workers of Bahujan Samaj party also.
He warned the government of holding a strong agitation in this regard. Others who were present included Hari Chand Thapa, Girdhari lal, Munshi Ram Thappa, Subdar Ram Dass, Hans Raj , Mohan lal, Mool Raj ,Suresh Chand and many more. |
