Kathua, Aug 7: DDC Kathua AS Jamwal today paid surprise visit in several government offices and took stock of their working. The DDC accompanied with ADC and other officials of district administration visited Nari Niketan, Bal ashram and Office of the Assistant Labour Commission wherein he checked punctuality and other official records. He found satisfied to the department and expressed concern over the shortage of proper staff that would affect the working. While interacting with media, DDC said he took stock of working of various departments and the drive would continue in future. He said no doubt shortage of staff affects the working of the government department but vacant posts have already been referred to JK SSB for recruitment and hoped to fulfil the vacancy as soon as possible. |
