Doda-Bhaderwah road remains closed for sixth consecutive day 8/7/2015 11:31:08 PM Early Times Report Bhaderwah, Aug 7: Congress Committee Doda district led by its President MLC Naresh Kumar Gupta today held a strong protest and demonstration against the state government and administration in the premises of Seri Bazar Bhaderwah against non-restoration of the Bhaderwah Doda road from the last six days connecting the Bhadewrah. The protesters also blocked the road for half an hour alleging that both the Central and Mufti Sayeed governments have failed on all fronts to mitigate the problems of rural areas of Jammu region . The protesters raising slogans against the Government and concerned authorities took out a procession from MLC residence in which Sarpanchs , Panchs , Ex Ward members , women workers also participated and demanded that the Chief Minister and R&B minister should personally intervene in to the matter as local administration is doing nothing concrete to open the Bhaderwah Doda road and threatened of lengthy agitation if road not restored within 24 hours. The protesters also demanded that Bhaderwah Doda road which is being maintained by GREF be handed over to a company like AFCON or Leighton for better quality work.
