| After suspicious movement security put on high alert in Kishtwar | | 11258 Yatris pay obeisance at Machail Mata | | Asif Iqbal Naik

Kishtwar, Aug 7: After noticing some suspicious movement on the outskirt of Kishtwar town and its peripheries, the security has been put on high alert besides combing and search operation was launched by the police and the army in many areas. The security all along 95 KM route of Machail Mata from Thatri to Gulabgarh and on 32 KM Gulabgarh-Machail route has also been beefed up following Udhampur terror attack.
As per the details available with "Early Times", on the basis of some inputs regarding suspicious movement in Phagumar, Nagni and its adjoining areas, the troops of 8 RR along with Kishtwar police launched massive search operation in these areas, beside also strengthen the security in Kishtwar town. Later SP Kishtwar Yougal Manhas also called the meeting of various security agencies at District Police Office Kishtwar to review the security situation of Kishtwar District.
As per sources SP Kishtwar during the course of meeting laid stress for cooperation between all the security agencies functioning in the District so that the nefarious designs of anti national and anti social elements could be defeated.
Meanwhile 11258 Yatris paid obeisance at Machail Mata temple till yesterday evening while thousands of Yatries were on way when last report came in. Several police personnel in civil dress uniforms were deployed at many places to keep hawks eye on the activity of all the people visiting or leaving Kishtwar town. |
