| Two countries of the world South and central Asia-India and China belong to the same culture, which have nursed and nurtured in Buddhism and are the torch bearers for peace and harmony. Under that spirit Pt. Nehru, soon after attaining independence entered into an agreement under the name and style `Panchsheel` to restore peace for ever to live brotherly, and any differences arise, would be resolved mutually, but the spirit of the said agreement was violated.
China committed a full military invasion of Indian State of Jammu & Kashmir in cyclonic speed and captured Indian Aksai Chin territory by committing bloodshed and brutal atrocities without consideration of humanitarian norms, which is pending and lying to be surrendered. In similar manner all of sudden Pakistan committed an aggression over the Indian State of Jammu and Kashmir, bloodshed and encroached upon some part of the state. Under that spirit Pt. Nehru approached the UN Security Council with representation to get further bloodshed stopped and surrender grabbed Indian State territory to them peacefully. He explained to his people though its national parliaments as well as international community that he did not desire to give them reply in the same manner and decided to get relief from the world body as prayed in his representation i.e. `to stop further bloodshed and surrender the grabbed territory`.
He further justified his stand through his explanation for the information of the world statesmen and people that he had well competent forces to give befitting reply to Pakistan in retaliation but his conscious did not allow him to kill those with whom they and their forefathers had been living in the relation of kith and kin. That is a philosophy of non-violence of India, which Pt. Nehru had expected from the world body for surrendering the grabbed territory to India place fully.
No doubt, China boasts for the progress in pushing for peace dialogue and co-operation in all respects on international plate forms as well as to evolve ways and means for other common cause.First of all, in Nehru-Zhou Enlai meeting, India objected on the map issued by China on political position of its country which was responded and assured to revise its map to the satisfaction of India, but since then no attention was paid by it and the matter is lying still pending. Its malafide deliberation generated unpleasantness and doubts.Apart from it, it was decided to identify the passes for pilgrims from India to occupied Mansarover, and also the tents where under traders could be awe to set up, but later on it was refused by violating the agreement made in 1954 in whimsical manner without any justification. Afterwards, guilty mind China constructed on unauthorized road from Rudve to sinkiang via Indian grabbed territory Aksai chin, territory of Ladakh Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir, which was clear betrayal and aggression to encroach upon Indian sovereign country, which is to be surrendered.
One more hostile reference of its attitude against India about its abortive attempt against imposing restrictions on J-e-M terrorist Massud Azhar initiated by the UNO, but that proposal was ignored keeping in view of international aspiration and it suffered a defeat for-pro-terror policy, despite its efforts to support terrorism. The UN banned his devastative activities and declared his terror outfit-out of bond in the world. That was its hostile attitude with neighbor India, but it missed the sweet reference from its memory that it got a seat in the UNO Security Council only with good wishes and support of India. It reciprocated in its unique character against the ban on Azhar terrorism who generated violence against India. Thus it took a negative attitude towards India. Thus that its mental outlook, it did not generate congenial atmosphere to develop sweet diplomatic relations for peace and harmony.
It is frustrating that sweet assurances, promises and decisions made mutually were never appeared into action, but contrary to that its expanding political activities in PoK is undeniable. It's forwarding movement in that territory where Pak has no sovereign rights and cannot alter the status quo as a care taken is a serious and Pakistan is answerable to the world as well as to the UNO. Apart from it, boasts claim with flexing its muscles for across Asia Pacific and Indian Ocean region of its neighbor maritime zonal islands, for which its claim was not based on ground realities. It has over ridden the concerns of its neighbors on their territorial claims in Indo -East Sea by extending to its maritime boundaries. It was adamant and pulled down the leadership of the maritime zonal countries and others in dictatorial way created unpleasantness. It was a serious encroachment upon the sovereignty of these small countries, because of it could not have thrust its hegemony upon the leadership of these maritime countries, such as Vietnam, Indonesia, Brunel, Philippines and Taiwan. These sovereign countries have full political, economical and rights to enjoy their inherited rights, which could have not been denied by any one.
China's intension is mala-fide. Its political leadership is unaware as well as reluctant intentionally to regard its traditional claims on Indo-East Sea. It has now been busy to forge its renewed diplomatic relations to gain a foothold in the maritime zone to project its hegemony to serve its political and economical interest, which is its attempt in the maritime zone. There all lopsided diplomatic policies create obstacles and unpleasantness to damage the mutual interest and neighbourly relations. It before committing violence and establishing its leadership against these maritime zonal countries should go to abide by international law which is acknowledged worldwide.
These countries are entitled a maximum of 24-nm (nautical miles) from the base line from which the breadth of the territorial sea is measured as the contiguous. The use and control of the contiguous zone is dependent on the Geneva Convention of 1958. In that zone, the coastal states may exercise the control necessary to prevent infringement of its customs, fiscal immigration or sanitary regulations, it committed with in its territorial waters. The sovereign rights exploring, exploiting conserving and managing the natural resources zone. These states get sovereign rights for economic exploitation. In the light of that it raised objections whimsically under the influence of having hegemony over these coastal countries on the agreement made between the Rashtrapati. India and Vietnam on the oil digging issue which was spurned away at the very moment with the remarks that India had sovereign right to enter in the agreement because of China had not acknowledged supremacy over that maritime Indo-East zone. The political character of China is world known which had also been defined one of its generals and military strategist Sun Tau, who disclosed that it's all warfare had based on deception. It was his conclusion of its background of political character that it was not a responsible Government.Since then it is being applied to pursue its same traditional warfare strategy. All bordering issues of the neighboring countries had settled by it under it's that traditional strategy, which offer do not last due to its deceptive policy.
