CEO orders to start evening classes in 15 High, Higher Sec Schools | | | Asif Iqbal Naik Early Times Report
Kishtwar Aug 9: In order to reach out to students who are either poor or weak in studies with the aim to lift their education standard so that they can compete with other students, the government has decided to start "evening classes" for these students special thrust will be given to overcome their educational weaknesses. In one such similar order today issued by Chief Education Officer (CEO) Kishtwar, he identified 15 schools where evening classes will start functioning with immediate effect. As per the details available with Early Times, the CEO in response to DSE Jammu letter No. DSEJ/14435-45 dated 21-07-2-15 issued vide order No CEO/K/2015/10815-33 identified 15 high and higher secondary schools in six education zones of Kishtwar district which include HSS Shirodh, HS Patnazi and HS Drabshala in Drabshala zone, HS Sigdi and HS Chingam in zone Inderwal, HSS Boys/HSS Girls Kishtwar, HS Sarthal and HS Sirgwari in zone Kishtwar, HS Lopara in Zone Marwah, HSS Palmar and HS Dool in zone Nagsini and HSS Padder, HS Atholi and HS Sohal in zone Padder. Except HSS Boys/Girls Kishtwar, all other schools fall in remote and far flung areas of Kishtwar District. While talking to Early Times CEO Kishtwar Vinod Kumar Soni said that the aim and objective of starting evening classes is to identify the weak students and provide them an opportunity to gain more education. He said that any student either studying in private schools or government schools are entitled to enroll themselves in these night classes. |
