PPHS Katra celebrates 'Birds and Animals Awareness Week' 8/10/2015 12:20:24 AM JAMMU, Aug 9: Pineland Public High School, Katra Celebrated Birds and Animals awareness week at School Premises on Saturday with great fervour and enthusiasm. The Students were briefed about the importance of birds and animals in the world. The importances of care and Kindness to birds were brought home to young minds by the teachers. The students were also given awareness about illegal trade of birds and animals in India and abroad by mercenary traders. Principal Usha Jasrotia while addressing the students said that everyone should protect the birds and animals rather than killing them.
