Army organizes youth empowerment programme 8/10/2015 12:26:01 AM Early Times Report Udhampur, Aug 9: The Rashtriya Rifles battalion at Kalal under the aegis of Rashtriya Rifles Uniform force Headquarters based at Reasi chaired a meeting with the civil administration and 28 Sarpanchs of Naushera tehsil in a concerted drive to discuss progressive measures for Youth Empowerment as well as inform the population of various measures undertaken by the Government for socio economic development of rural areas. The meeting gave an informal platform to the village headmen to share their experiences related to youth empowerment and developmental programmes in the region. The Army officials in an interaction with the sarpanchs underlined the initiatives taken by the Army towards Youth Empowerment, promotion of outdoor sport activities, boosting employment avenues for the youth, Swach Bharat campaign and knowledge based programmes.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
