Jammu, Aug 9: Continuing to highlight the long pending demands of employees of the state government, pensioners, president of the National Mazdoor Conference (NMC), Subash Shastri today urged upon the Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed to intervene personally in releasing 6% D.A. dues from July last in favour of State government employees and pensioners. As per press release, Sharstri said at the next meeting of state cabinet as another installment of 7% D.A. has also become due to both central and state government employees and pensioner which ultimately file up the arrears burdening further state exchequer of the state government. Shastri said that the prices of all essential commodities have gone considerably the release of pending installment of 6% D.A. has become more necessary adding that the budged in provision for this purpose has already made in the year 2015-16 budget, so there should be no hitch for the state government in releasing it. More so when almost all state governments of the country expect J&K had already released this installment to their employees and pensioners since long, as a matter of goodwill gesture, an early release of D.A. installment could get sigh of relief. |
