Black moles in Revenue deptt flouting norms prepare fake PRCs: Alleges Mirpur Panchyat

Kathua, Aug 27: Expressing concerns over denial of Permanent Resident Certificates (PRCs) residents of Mirpur Panchayat today alleged that some black moles in Revenue Department are preparing state subjects to all those who originally are residents of Punjab but clandestinely have grabbed lands in District Kathua.
In a press conference here today, the speakers from Residents of Mirpur Panchayat said when All West Pakistani Refugees legally demand for permanent citizen of J&K still are denied of PRCs but people who actually live in Punjab and have shifted in J&K few months back enjoy all beneficial schemes including citizenship of J&K and government jobs courtesy tainted Revenue officials who forge revenue records and prepare state subjects to non residents of state. Speakers alleged that nearly 70-80% fake state subjects have allegedly been prepared in Kathua.
A speaker Harbans Lal Saini, alleged that his agricultural land was grabbed by people living in Punjab few months back but when he approached to revenue department he surprised to find that his revenue documents have been shifted to the name of grabbers. He further alleged that person who alleged grabbed his land got a govern job secure for his son.
He said, "These non residents have Permanent Resident Certificates, ration cards, IAY, and etc through an unholy nexus with tainted officials in Revenue Department.
He also said that cited that Karnail Singh S/O Basant Ram, Santokh Ram S/O Thuru Ram, Deelap Chand S/O Uttam Chand S/O Sai Dass, Prem Chand S/O Bachter are outsider and grabbed land in state and thus now are enjoying all benefits of state government.
Lekh raj, a social worker also said fake PRCs are being openly prepared with the mutual understanding with Field Staff of Revenue department while flouting Art 370. He appealed to Chief Minister of J&K and Revenue Minister to set up an inquiry committee and take serious action against such tainted officers. He said the villagers seek their land which must be evacuated with immediate effect.
When contacted to ACR Kathua Atul Gupta ensured to verify the menace besides strict action against official who taint the revenue records to get sweeteners.
