MFJ appeals community not to take any step which vitiates communal harmony | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 20: Muslim Federation Jammu (MFJ) has thanked majority community for religious harmony and sidelining those trying to vitiate atmosphere and has also appealed Muslims not to take any step on Eid-ul-Azha occasion, that will hurt sentiments of particular community. According to press release, a meeting of MFJ was held under the chairmanship of Abdul Majid, President of Federation and was attended by several others. After long discussion and deliberation it was decided to address the problems faced by community such as controversial issue regarding Forest land, resentment of placement / posting of Muslim officers / officials in the Government departments: Issue of sacrilegious activities of particular community : Cow slaughtering , unpleasant situation arrows about a fort night ago in Samba district wherein properties of a particular community was damaged owing to this unpleasant issue. They also criticized non serious approach of government over controversial issues, which damaged communal harmony in region. Anjuman-I-Imamia, Jammu: Anjuman Haideri New-Plot, Jammu: Secretary Gujjar Islahi Committee : District President Ahle Hadees , Chairman Masjid Committee, Lakhdata Bazar Jammu and also other prominent citizen Khalid Hussain Ex- D.C : Sheikh Mehmood Ahmed Retd. S.S.P : Nasir Ahmed Mir President Transport Union and District bodies of other muslim organizations participated. |
