Jammu, Sept 20 : On the eve of Vishwakarma Pooja Divas Celebrations, Pradesh vishwakarma Shaba (PVS) J&K organized a function to honour the meritorious Students and others who have excelled in art, sports and culture at its HO Gurha Bakshi Nagar Jammu. Chairmanship of Shashi Verma, working President of the Sabha and Prithvi Khokhar, Prop/Director National Public Schol, Nowshera was the chief guest. Kuldeep Raj Verma, former VC OBC advisory Board, Puran Chargotra &RC Angotra former presidents and RL Chargotra, Vice President Akhil Bhartya Vishwakarma Mahasabha were guests of honour. .
Total 80 Students were honored which included Vishali Verma for M.Sc, Shruti for M.Phil, Rohit Salgotra from Kathua for being Topper in Mechanical Engg, Ankaksha Vishwakarma for 80/o marks m B.Tech. Anunjdh Virdhi, Ratul Dhiman for 10 CGPA in 10; Kanika Verma, Rya Verma, Shivani Machy, Navya Verma and Divanshu Vishwakarma for CGPA above 9.0 in 10Th.
Tania Verma, Shivali from Akhnoor, Sheel Priya, Anjali Verma from Ram Nagar, Narinder Kumar from Kathua, Radhika Rehan and Lakshmi Raina both from Bishnah all were honored for their CGPA above 9.0 in 12™; Shefali Verma from Hira Nagar was felicitated for her selection in MBBS.
A large chunk of Vishwa-karma people including women and children from all over the Jammu province attended the programme.
Budding singer Vanshika Jaral enthralled the audience by singing a heart touching Vishwa-karma Bhajan. Similarly Mukesh Verma from Akhnoor added cheer by dancing on a Punjabi song. |
