| Bazm-E-Adab, Ramban holds a literary meet | | | Early Times Report
BANIHAL, Sept 20: A meeting of Bazm-E-Adab, Ramban was today held under the chairpersonship of its President, Prof S A Ganai at Dak Bungalow Ramban.
The meeting was attended by prominent poets of the area. Many issues related to the promotion of local art and culture were discussed.The members were apprised of the fact that the Bazm will be got registered soon. All who were present once again requested Secretary Jammu and Kashmir Cultural Academy to fulfill the long pending demand of the area through the establishment of a Sub-office of the Academy at Distt Hqrs, Ramban.
on this occasion the members of the Bazm congratulated Prof SA Ganie on the release of the book "Emotions Unsung", a collection of English poems.
The poets also recited their poems in Urdu, English, Kashmiri and Pogali. Prominent among the present were, Ab. Khaliq Baybus, Aijaz Hussain Masroor, Mohd Iqbal Iqbal, Mohd Yousaf Yousaf, Ab Latief Bulbul, Sohil Arzoo. |
