Katra , Oct 18 : Devs Kids World School Kundorian, Katra celebrated its 11th Annual Day Function at The Spiritual Growth Centre Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board Katra Auditorium. Smita Sethi (Director School Education Jammu) was the Chief Guest and Anil Kumar (SDM Katra) was the Guest of honour while Miss Kavita Pandh (Tehsildar Katra) was the special Guest on the occasion. The function began with lighting a lamp by the chief guest in presence of the special invities Ashok Kumar DSP Katra, Kuldeep Khajuria (Headmaster GGHS Katra), Shiv Kumar Sharma (Joint Secretly sports council J&K)), R.S.Manhas (Retd. Headmaster), Harish Kumar Dubey retd. Z.E.O, Vipan Kumar (Vice President Management Committee Devs Kids World School) Ajay Gupta (Gen.Sec. Private School Association Jammu Province), Arvind Sharma (Director Lets Learn Activity Zone), Pankaj Khajuria (Film Diector), Th. Ghansara Singh, Laddi Sharma, Sudeshwar Sharma, Vinit Gupta, Subash Kerni, Jatinder Heera, Raj Gopal Sharma (AEE Mechanical), Sharda Devi (Principal of host school) and Sh. Ajay Singh (Director of host School). Ajay Singh presented welcome address and Annual report of the school and highlighted the academic, co-curricular activities of year like athletics achievements, Scouts and Guides, Competitive test based on modern pattern of exam, symposium and sports which includes kho-kho, Kabadi, wrestling etc. He thanked the parents for their cooperation. A colourful cultural programme was presented on the occasion with the aim to inculcate the dedication, sincerity and duties of citizens towards Swash Bharat Abhiyan, eradication of social evil besides Folk Songs representing local cultural heritage unity in diversity, Singing, Karate, along with thronging light on A.P.J.Abdul Kalam and beti bachaoi and beti padaoi.
Chief Guest gave away the prizes to the winner of different events besides management also presented mementos to the chief guest and guest of honour and special guest.
Anupam Sharma conducted the proceeding of the function besides Sharda Devi Presented vote of thanks on the occasion. |
