Jammu, Oct 18 : ABVP demanded dismissal of VC of University of Jammu and should be initiated enquiry against him.
Addressing media persons, State organizing secretary of ABVP Pawan Sharma said ABVP is continuously working for the cause of students all over the country and every year organize student leader conference in University of Jammu to discuss the various issues being faced by students but this year also ABVP proposed to organize this conference in campus but VC acting in a dictatorship mode instead of allowing this used police force to suppress the voice of student.
'It is democratic right of student to have conference in the campus.He warned vc that they would not allow his dictatorship and he questioned the Varsity administration's decision to close the institution in view of their conference, are we hardcore criminals? So Varsity has banned our entry into the campus, " he asked.
He alleged that the VC acting under some pressure from his political bosses. He demanded that the university should immediately conduct student union elections. |
