| SLNTMT organizes religious dance contest | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 18 : Shri Laxshmi Narayan Temple Management Trust (SLNTMT), Gandhi Nagar today organized a sparkling dance contest in the temple premises. According to press release, the Vice Chancellor of Central University of Jammu, Professor Ashok Aima was chief guest.
In the contest, Aananya Sharma bagged the first prize while Sana Mahajan and Richa Dutta won second and third prize respectively. A consolation prize was awarded to Bignesh Blowria.
The Vice Chancellor said that it was also the social responsibility of the Universities to channelize the energy of the youth towards culture and heritage in such productive manner so that they could guarantee transition of our proud cultural heritage and rich traditions to next generation.
He also appreciating the efforts of Trust in general and Uma Katal in particular for organizing such a memorable function and assured that the Central University Jammu would keep a special provision for promotion of such meaningful initiatives, VC added. |
