Protest of forest employees enter second day | | | Early Times Report
BHADERWAH, OCT 18: Protest of forest employees under the banner of JK Non-Gazetted Forest Officer association entered into second day here today. According to press release, the protestors were chanting slogans against forest department and the incumbent coalition government. Speaking on the occasion acting President of the association Abdul Hafeez Dar demanded removal of pay anomalies of forest guard / foresters , release of two and half day salary , release of risk allowance ,clearance of pending SRO-43 cases and early conduct of DPC of Foresters , regularisation of daily wagers and enhancement of 135 more posts of Range Officers Grade-II. He also lashed out at government for delaying polices regarding their genuine demands "Our all long pending demands are genuine and we have apprised authorities about them time and again but it not considered so far". After sit in dharana, the agitating employees also took out a procession which after passing through various complexes of the DFO office Bhaderwah culminated outside the gate of forest complex where employees also burnt the effigy and tires. |
