Husband arrested for domestic violence in Budhal 10/18/2015 11:05:40 PM Early Times Report Rajouri , Oct 18: Police have arrested husband after his wife lodged a complaint against him at Budhal Police Station for alleged domestic violence. According to police, the man has been identified as Mohd Fareed of village Draman , farmer-cum labourer by profession and was booked by the police in case FIR No 74/15 under sections 323 ((voluntarily causing hurt ) and 342 (wrongful confinement) RPC. Quoting complainant, the SHO , Police Station Darhal, said that the victim (25yrs) Tasleem Akhter mother of two children has alleged that her husband used beat her up on trivial issues and also was harassed over even small domestic issues. Alleging her husband has illicit relation, the woman also has alleged that he often remain absent from home for days to gather. "And whenever she asked they had physical scuffle several times in the past and on Saturday once again they had physical scuffle over the same issue and Mohd Fareed severaly beat his wife who later approached the Budhal Police late evening on Saturday. Inspector Kuldeep Raj, SHO Budhal informed Early Times that the couple was having estranged relationship for the last many months and he had also provided counseling to both.
