3 HM militants killed in south Kashmir encounter 10/23/2015 12:15:14 AM Early Times Report Srinagar, Oct 22: Three Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) militants were killed in a fierce encounter in south Kashmir district of Shopian today, official sources said. They said security forces and Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police launched a joint operation at Manzipora Shopian following a tip-off about the presence of militants. However when the security forces were sealing a particular area in the village militants opened fire. Security forces also retaliated ensuing a fierce gun battle, in which three HM militants were killed. The slain militants were identified as Irshad Ahmad, Adil Khanday and Bilal Ahmad, sources said adding that some arms and ammunition were also recovered from the encounter site   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
