| ABVP demands postponement of annual exams | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 22: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) submitted a memorandum to the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education demanding postponement of annual exams, regular winter zone, 2015 of papers scheduled to be held on November 9th and 12th of 2015.
A delegation of ABVP led by State Organizing Secretary Pawan Sharma and accompanied by Avinash Sethi, Akshay Bharti and Anchal Chib met Joint Secretary JKBOSE Vijay Lakshmi Sharma. In conversation with JKBOSE Secretary, Pawan Sharma asked that how it is possible to take exams of students during Pooja Holidays. Board is playing with the future of students as it is taking paper of Science Subject on the next day of Deepawali and students will not be mentally prepared for the exam and cannot celebrate the festival as well.
Pawan Sharma asked the Board to postpone the exams which are held on 9th and 12th of November and warns the JKBOSE authorities if they fail to postpone these exams, ABVP will launch a state wide agitation against JKBOSE. |
