| Northern Railway to observe 'Vigilance Awareness' week | | | Early Times Report
new dlehi, Oct 22: In a bid to create awareness among common masses against vigilance Northern Railway is likely to organize a week long programme from October 26 on the theme 'Preventive Vigilance as a tool for Good Governance.
According to spokesperson, during the inaugural occasion special invitee A.K.Puthia, General Manager, Northern Railway would administrate oath for integrity to the gathering. Sr Deputy General Manager and Chief Vigilance Officer, Northern Railway, Ranjanesh Sahai and other senior officers would be present on the occasion, spokesperson said. He said, "The week long programme includes a seminar, to be graced by the Chief Vigilance Commissioner and Chairman Railway Board, debates and elocution in school/colleges in the Northern Railway jurisdictions on issues related to corruption." Besides this a quiz, essay competition and skits at prominent places, he said adding, "a vigilance bulletin shall also be released on the occasion with a ready reckoner on Dos & Dont’s several areas of decision making to ensure transparency and fare play. |
