CMO Rajouri seeks explanation from incharge BMO Kandi | 6 employees suspended | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Rajouri, Nov 15: Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Rajouri has directed incharge BMO, Kandi Health Zone under suspension and directed him to explain his position for remaining unauthorisedly absent. The CMO has also placed under suspension 6 employees for remaining on unauthrized absent during duty hours in Community Health Centre at Kotranka today. Taking note of complaints, Dr Chaman Bhasin, CMO today paid visit to BMO office and CHC at Lotranka and found these employees on an unauthorized absent. Dr Mohd Azaz,in-charge BMO, who has proceeded to Jammu without any information/permission from CMO, has been asked to explain his position on this matter while 6 employees have been placed under suspension and attached with CMO office at Rajouri who were on an unauthorized absent . Recently the inhabitants of Kotranka zone have held a protest demonstration against the Health Ministry for not providing required/ sanctioned doctors at health centres in this zone. "Out of 33 sanctioned posts of senior consultants, consultants and Medical Officers 27 posts are reportedly lying vacant in this Medical Zone' Said a source. Those who have been suspended and attached with CMP office have been identified as Fazal-ul-Rehmab, laboratory technician ; Shamshad Malik, junior staff nurse (JSN) ; Abdul Qayoom, Nursing Orderly (NO) ; Vandan Raina and Shenaz Akhter both JSN (NHM) & Muneer Hussain, safaiwala. CMO also found in-charge BMO had proceeded to Jammu without station leaving permission and was directed to explain his position. On one hand Health Ministry celebrating to become number one state in the country in providing best health care to the people, Health Minister claim to have taken several initiatives to improve the healthcare facilities in every hospital in the state during last eight month while on the other hand people of Rajouri district have been facing many difficulties in the absence of sanctioned strength of doctors/paramedical staff and required important medicines. |
