BLSKS presents 82nd musical play 'Jai Jawan Jai Vigyan' | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 26: To celebrate the 'Jai Kissan Jai Vigyan' week, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) performed 82ndmusical play series "Jai Jawan Jai Vigyan" in collaboration with Unison Cultural Troupe , Sangam Tru Art Production and ESRM. The program was commenced with songs , Saian Kare Khitva Ham Pania PataI Wo Ram " Banjar Dharti Uglle Sona" , "Mrida Svaasthy Card Banakar Dharti Mul Iska Pehchan " , "Mera Gaun Mera Garuv hai " , songs and dances were presented to aware the masses and the music was composed by renowned music teacher Master Raju Bajgal and the song sung by the artists of BLSKS and students of the institute .The Musical play - " Jai Jawan Jai Vigyan " was highly appreciated by the audience. The Chief Guest lauded the efforts of the organizers in making such awareness programmes colorful and effective on the theme of Improving of Soil Health, Soil health Card, conservation and providing water to agriculture and also said the Soil Health Card Scheme is launched under this programme to issue soil card to farmers to help them get a good harvest by studying the quality of soil. According to the scheme, the objective is to issue the soil cards to about 14 crore farmers spread all over India. The card is a printed report. It will be given to farmers once in three years for his farm or land holding. Earlier welcome address of ML Dogra, Chairman and BLSKS through the light of Special campaign on Jai Kissan Jai Vigyan week, important of soil in food security and adaptation of scientific techniques and Musical Play. It aims to raise awareness on the importance of the soil health as 95% of our food production linked to soil. The musical play was written produced and directed by ML Dogra, Former Regional Director, Song and Drama Division Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India .The Program was inaugurated by chief guest VK Magotra Former Regional Director, of Directorate of Field Publicity, Government of India. Dr. Tara Singh Charak, former deputy director, Health Department J&K. Dr. AC Bhagat, former chief officer department of Animal Husbandry, J&K Government, Romesh Chander event Director were the guest of honor. |
