| What does holistic development mean Mr Akhter? | | Convert parks into playgrounds! | | Jammu, Dec 26: The education minister has come out with the idea of holistic development of children. In good old days , the teachers would take pains for mental as well as physical development of the children. They believed physical education was as important as mental education. The old teachers used to take children to playing fields in cases where no space was available in the schools. However, the successive governments converted playing grounds into parks where young couples are seen indulging in obscene acts. Nayeem Akhter, if he believes in holistic development of the children must at least re-convert some of the parks into playing grounds. Besides dating, there is a lot to be learnt in life and the playgrounds, Napoleon once said is the best place to learn things. He once said; 'The battle of waterloo was won on the playgrounds of Eton."
