KATHUA, Dec 26 : Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua celebrated Christmas with great fervour and enthusiasm. The entire school was decorated by the staff and students. Students were dressed up like Santa Claus and some girls were dressed up like fairies. They sang songs, recited poetry and performed a short play on the birth of Jesus Christ. The staff and students cut a cake on this occasion and enjoyed a lot. Principal of Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua Shuchita Gupta said, "This festival gives the message of peace and love for all". She further said, "As India is known for its unity in diversity worldwide, we should not believe in casteism. God has given us birth as an individual. It is we who differentiate people in different castes and religious. So, we in Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua teach our children that all religions are one and we must believe in unity." The Management, principal, staff and students of Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua wishes all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. |
