ASKCC Kathua, SCC Hoshiarpur score easy wins 12/26/2015 11:44:11 PM Early Times Report KATHUA, Dec 26 : The 22nd and 23rd match of 6th Police Martyr Memorial North Zone Inter Club T-20 Cricket Championship were played at Sports Stadium Kathua. The 22nd match of the Championship was played between Akshay Star Kohli Cricket Club (ASKCC) Kathua and Rudar Cricket Club (RCC) Delhi. 23rd match was played between Stadium XI Kathua and Shabnam Cricket Club (SCC) Hoshiarpur. In the 22nd match, Akshay Star Kohli Cricket Club Kathua won the toss and chose to field. Batting first, Rudar Cricket Club Delhi set a target of 84 runs in 19.5 overs by losing all wickets. Amanjeet, who scored 26 runs in 32 balls was the top scorer with the help of 1 boundary and 1 six. Vision Panchal of Akshay Star Kohli Cricket Club Kathua took 4 wickets by conceding 19 runs in 3.5 overs. Akshay Star Kohli Cricket Club Kathua easily chased the target in 10.1 overs by losing only 1 wicket. Rahul Teweita who scored 50 unbeaten runs in just 37 balls was declared man of the match with cash prize of Rs 1500 and trophy. In the 23rd match , Shabnam Cricket Club Hoshiarpur won the toss and choose to bat first and set a target of 161 runs in 20 overs by losing 6 wickets . Love Kumar, who scored 66 runs in just 51 balls with the help of 8 boundaries was the top scorer. Rompy of Stadium XI took 3 wickets by conceding 22 runs in 4 overs was the most successful bowler Stadium XI Kathua could not chase the target and scored only 137 runs by losing 5 wickets in 20 overs.
