ARTO Udh conducts special drive to curb overloading' 12/26/2015 11:44:36 PM Udhampur, Dec 26 : In order to curb the menace of over loading goods on passenger vehicle a top, a special drive was carried out under the supervision of ARTO Udhampur, Rajesh Gupta on National highway near TCP Udhampur here today and realized Rs 12500/- as fine from violators. ARTO said that a special drive has been launched to check the menace of loading goods on passenger vehicle which makes passenger vehicles prone to accidents and one some occasions result into fatal casualties. During the drive, the team off loaded the goods from the roof of passenger vehicle and an amount of Rs 12500/- was compounded on spot while one taxi was seized for carrying goods.
