| Kathua, Jan 15 : Learning Temple English Medium School, Kathua organized a "Road Safety Awareness Program" in School premises. The program was inaugurated by Ramesh Kumar, I.A.S. Deputy Commissioner Kathua, in the presense of Amarjeet Singh, KAS, Regional Transport Authority Kathua. An exhibition was also stalled in which many self-made models of Vehicles & Charts were displayed. The students beautifully explained the importance of Safety on the Road, Light Signals, Seat Belts, Helmets etc. to the VIPs and the visitors. An ideal model of two passengers both wearing Helmets was also shown in the Exhibition to create an awareness amongst all who drive Motor Cycles or other two wheelers. By showing fractured limbs due to accidents, it was stressed that every driver or the passenger should observe rules and regulations of traffic and value to original limbs of body, because duplicate limbs can never by as original as the parts of vehicles. |
