BJP's central leadership snubs local unit for power desperation | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 15: Notwithstanding the desperation being shown by former BJP ministers to form government at any cost, BJP's central leadership is totally against entering into alliance with PDP with any fresh conditions. Keeping in view the coming assembly elections of West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh, where BJP is going to play Hindu card, BJP's central leadership is against giving a message to its voters across the country that the party has comprised core agenda for power. Credible sources in the BJP said that Central leadership has directed state unit of BJP against giving any signal to the masses which reflects that party is desperate to attain power again. Central leadership has told the local unit that wait for PDP to come a step forward because coming assembly elections of West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh are very crucial for the party and BJP leadership wants to give an message that attaining power in J&K is not their priority. BJP's new emerging rival in the country, Aam Adami Party (AAP) has already started a campaign in some pockets of the country to "expose" the BJP for compromising its core agenda to enjoy power in the J&K. In a recent interview to the TV channel, AAP leader, Kumar Vishwas had chided BJP leadership for accepting two flags in J&K thus betraying lakhs of workers who had fought under the leadership of Dr Shyama Parshad Mukherjee. Credible sources in the BJP said that party leadership is very much aware that without playing Hindu card it is not possible for the party to get power in two crucial states namely West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh. Already BJP has started exploiting the explosive situation of Malda of West Bengal to expose appeasement policy of West Bengal Chief Minister, Mamta Benerjee. As far as UP is concerned, BJP has already started campaign for Ram Temple to mobilize Hindu voters for the coming assembly polls. There is a realization among party leadership that party has lost Bihar elections because it has failed to play Hindu card there. |
