Jammu, Jan 15 : Akhil Bhartiya Kshatriya Mahasabha (ABKM) today informed that they have submitted the copy of the resolutions, adopted in the one day conference, to Governor NN Vohra. Addressing media persons, President Ravi Singh Slathia along with Gambhir Dev Singh Charak-Chief Organisor, Amrik Singh Karamyogi- Vice President and other members of the Working Committee informed the press about this. The resolutions adopted by Mahasabha, need to review caste based national reservation policy, reservation on economic criteria, construction of life size statue of Maharaja Gulab Singh at Kunjwani Chowk, Jammu University be named after Maharaja Gulab Singh, his birthday 21st October be declared as holiday, restoration and conservation of Dogra heritage palaces archive, Dogra Art Museum, Toshekhana, Library and Darbar-e-Aam of Mubarak Mandi be restored to its pristine glory and white paper be issued on their restoration plan and action taken against the authorities responsible for demolishing Darbar-e-Aam, the most important part of Mubarak Mandi heritage complex. All ancient forts, temples, Dargahs and palaces in the state be preserved as heritage sites. Dr. Soni Singh Sambyal, Pawan Singh Manhas, Er. Dalbir Singh Chib, Rameshwar Manhas, Rashpal Singh, Raj Kumar Charak, Anil Dev Singh & others were also present in the press conference. |
