JAMMU, Jan 15: In order to carry out emergency works like replacement of damaged works including replacement of damaged conductor between loc No 50 and 51, attending of hot spots at loc No 46, tightening of jumpers, nuts and bolts and replacement of burn-out jumpers of above said transmission line, shutdown of 132 KV D/C Barn-Canal Transmission line is allowed on January 17, 2016 from 9 a m to 3 p m.
As intimated by Chief Engineer S&O Wing Jammu, during the shutdown period, the power supply to areas fed from Grid Station Canal and Grid Station Pouni Chak shall remain affected.
Similarly in order to carry out development works by M/s IRCON International Ltd, 33 KV line of G-2 feeder emanating from 220/132/33 KV Grid station Gladni shall remain shutdown on January 17, 2016 from 10 a m to 3 p m for shifting of existing 11 KV Cables for providing space for civil building works at JDA Complex Receiving Station.
Areas to be affected during the shutdown period are Green Belt, Part of Trikuta Nagar, Gandhi Nagar, Gole Market, Vikram Chowk, University, MES and adjoining areas.
Meanwhile, in order to undertaking various works under R-APDRP in Jammu for LT Networks, the power supply to Krishana Nagar, Dogra Mohalla, Science College, Shiv Mandir, Near Commerce College, New Krishna Nagar, Chand Nagar, Abhinav Theatre, Patel Nagar, Shakti Nagar, Lane No.5, 8, 9, 10,12 and Mohinder Nagar, Indra Theatre, Government Quarter, LIC Office, Jhulaka Mohalla, Karan Nagar, Kali Mandir, Near Jail, Amphalla, Ustad Mohalla, back side of Hari Singh Mahal, Peerkho Mandir, Prem Nagar, Tali Morh, Peer Baba, New Plot area, Sarwal, Tawi Vihar area, Asarabad, Sidhra Main Chowk, Kabristan, Malik Manzil, New Rehari, Old Rehari, Pwd Quarters, Meridian Palace, Dogra Hall, Prem Nagar, Christan Colony, Bhagwati Nagar near Sawab Sukh, Government Fair Price Area, Ashok Line, Shiv Mandir area, Udheywala, Akalpur, Sangrampur, GMC, Bakshi Nagar, Kamla Palace, old University Campus, Bharat Nagar, Kabir Colony, Lakar Mandi, Bhawani Nagar, Janipur Colony, Ramlila Park, Trimurti Mandir, Shivalikpuram, PHE Complex, Shiv Nagar, Bhawani Nagar, Nasib Nagar, JMC Royal Chowk, Vikas Nagar, Upper Shiv Nagar, Lower Shiv Nagar, Chinore, Chowdhary Lane, Buta Nagar, Lower Roop Nagar, Kali Mata Mandir, Rajinder Nagar, Swaran Vihar, Laxmipura, Chinore and Keran fed from C-18, CB-3, C-22, D-2, D-4, D-5, J-1, Sidhra-2, Sidhra-1, S-4, S-8, DG-2, C-7, UD-3, M-1, T-3, J-3, J-4,SN-1, SN-3, RN-2, RN-3 and BT-5 feeders shall remain affected on January 16 to 31 except January 26 from 9 am to 5 pm (4 hours shutdown on alternate DT).
Meanwhile, in order to carry out 33 KV Reconductoring work, the power supply to Canal Road, Prem Nagar, Gumat, Jewel, Krishna Nagar, Science College and adjoining areas fed from Company Bagh to Canal feeder shall remain affected on January 16, 18, 21, 24, 28 and 31 from 10 am to 4 pm.
Similarly, the power supply to Dogra Hall, Rehari, Ustad Mohalla, Resham Ghar Colony, Bus Stand, Jewel, Hari Market, Raghunath Bazaar, Kaleeth Mohalla, Kaleeth Market, Part of Kanak Mandi and adjoining areas fed from Janipur to New Manda feeder shall remain affected on January 17, 20, 23, 25, 27 and 30 from10 am to 5 pm.
Meanwhile , the power supply to Residency Road, Prem Nagar, Christian Colony, Raghunath Bazaar, Khatikan Talab, Lakhdata Bazaar and adjoining areas fed from Gladni to Dani Gate feeder shall remain affected on January 17, 19, 22, 25, 27 and 29 from 10 am to 5 pm.
Meanwhile, for test charging of 33 KV line of Maheshpura Chowk to Medical College Feeder, the power supply to Bakshi Nagar, Rehari Colony, Resham Ghar and adjoining areas shall remain affected on January 18 from 10 am to 12 noon.
Similarly, in order to carry out the development works on M/s IRCON under R-APDRP works, 11 KV feeder TPN-4 emanating from 33/11 KVA R/Stn Transport Yard, the power supply to Transport Yard, Fruit and Vegetable Mandi and its adjoining areas shall remain affected on January 17, 2016 from 8 a m to 5 p m.
Meanwhile, in order to carry out urgent repair works at 33/11 KV Receiving Station Company Bagh on the eve of Republic Day, 33 KV Canal-Company Bagh line emanating from 132/33 KV Grid Station Canal, the power supply to Jewel Chowk, Chand Nagar, CM House, PHE, Company Bagh, Ware House, MA Stadium, Jammu Club and adjoining areas shall remain affected on January 20, 2016 from 12 noon to 4 p m.
In order to carry out the work of PCC pole erection and Re-conductoring of HT line by M/S. IRCON International under R-APDRP project, the power supply to Poonch House, LIC Office, Choughan Slathia, Dharmarth Trust area shall remain affected on January 16 to 18 (on alternate days excluding holidays) from 10 am to 3 pm.
Similarly, in order to carry out stringing of Panther conductor on 13 mtr ST Poles near Railway Station, Bari Brahmana, the power supply to Birpur Industry, Kanhal, Seora, Greater Kailash and Industries fed from 33 KV Narbada line shall remain affected on January 17 from 9 am to 5 pm. |
