Jammu, Mar 6 : A student of class 10 jumped into Chenab river after he failed in bi-annual exams in Akhnoor area on city outskirts of this winter capital of the state.
"Aman Kumar, 17, resident of Jungwari, Purkhoo this morning jumped into River Chenab from Newbridge, near bypass Road, Akhnoor," police sources here said.
They said that reportedly, he was a 10th Class student, who appeared in bi-annual examination, but failed.
"Search is going on to trace the body of the deceased," police added. |
