Blue-eyed enjoy attachments in different offices, DSEJ mum Violation of Guv's direction 3/7/2016 12:02:52 AM ET Report jammu, Mar 6: Not having an iota of fear in their minds for violating Governor's clear directions, some officials including Zonal Education Officers (ZEOs) and Tehsildars in their respective areas of jurisdiction are still allowing attachment of teachers and other allied staff of School Education Department. Adhering to the Governor's instructions of going ahead with the detachments of various staff of School Education Department, the Director School Education (DSE) Jammu Smita Sethi has initiated the process though selectively. DSE, Jammu issued orders of suspension of ZEO Ramgarh on March 2, 2016 for not detaching the staff attached earlier due to political considerations, however, in handling the similar cases of ZEO Jourian and ZEO Akhnoor different yardsticks were applied as the Director didn't take corrective measures. Meanwhile, the director is also maintaining silence over the issue of attachment of employees of School Education Department in other officers. As per detail with the early Times, three employees including two teachers and a Laboratory Assistant are attached in the office of ZEO Jourian. Astonishingly an employee is being attached in the office of the ZEO Khour for last 10 years, one teacher is being attached in the office of Tehsildar Kharah and three teachers are attached in the office of Tehsildar Akhnoor. If sources are to be believed, this is not an isolated case there are number of government offices where employees of education department whether teaching or non-teaching are attached.
