Usage of banned drugs rampant at Poonch 3/6/2016 10:28:20 PM POONCH, Mar 6: The usage of banned drugs has been on the rise across Poonch district without any check of law enforcing agencies. "The number of psychotropic drug users has shown an upward trend across the district which is a matter of serious concern," locals said. "Some youth can even be seen taking drugs at public places. All this is happening under the watchful eyes of police," they added. Local Panthers Party leader Zorawar Singh said the rise in number of drug addicts in the district showed that police had failed to put a curb on the activities of suppliers of banned drugs.
