Sports Council reviews ongoing works 3/6/2016 10:47:23 PM SRINAGAR, Mar 6 : The Secretary, J&K State Sports Council, Jawaid Ahmad Shah, along with Executive Engineer of the Council and Divisional Sports Officer, Kashmir visited different play fields to take stock of the works in progress. During his visit to KNS Stadium, Radapora Srinagar, Secretary instructed the officers to complete levelling of field as soon as possible. Later, he visited Gani Memorial Stadium, Rajouri Kadal and asked the officers for upgradation of existing weightlifting hall, a handout issued here today said. While visiting the Bemina Play field, the Sports Council Secretary advised the Executive Engineer to complete the ongoing works before the season s tarts. The Secretary also visited Shafaqat Rehabilitation Centre Bemina Basketball Court and directed the Sports Officer Kashmir to provide requisite sports equipment to the Centre. Finally during the visit of Bakhshi Stadium, Secretary instructed the Executive Engineer and Divisional Sports Officer Kashmir that restoration of the change rooms and other related maintenance works in connection with forthcoming football I-league shall be completed on priority basis.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
