MAM swimming pool to open first time in March 3/6/2016 10:49:17 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 6 : The swimming pool at MAM stadium is likely to be opened shortly. This will be the first time when the pool will be opened in March. The proposed opening of the pool has won the Council widespread appreciation. Raising serious questions about the opening of the swimming pool which was undergoing renovation from the last decade, the sports council claimed to open the pool ending March. According to the officials of the Council, the renovation is complete and the pool is all set to be thrown open within few days. A swimmer said last year the pool was not thrown open even in April leaving the swimmers high and dry. According to him, the incumbent council is fast and efficient. The former council has also come under severe criticism from former coaches. They are all praise for the incumbent council. Manager Swimming Pool, Satish Gupta when contacted said that all the renovation work, either changing room, filtration plant or cleaning of pool has been done while the electricity and lighting repairs work is undergoing and will get completed in two or more days.
