Early Times Report Rajouri, Mar 6 : To prepare the students of government schools for bigger competitions and provide them a congenial atmosphere, the education department in the district has come out with 'Super 40 section' for bright students. Under this scheme, students getting 75 pc marks and above in the qualifying examinations will directly be enrolled in the 'Super 40 section' and will be imparted education in different disciplines by highly qualified , experienced, dedicated and committed teachers of the department. The scheme will be introduced in all the higher secondary schools of Rajouri district in general and in Model higher secondary schools in particular and will be available for the students from 9th to 12th classes. As per department communication, students with marks below 75 pc can also take admission in 'Super 40 section' but for that they have to qualify a written test by securing 60 pc and above marks. The written test would be based on objective type and reasoning based questions. "The students with 75 pc and above marks will be provided books, uniforms and allied expenses and shall remain engaged even during vacations," said Altaf Hussain, Chief Education Officer (CEO), Rajouri. The registration for 'Super 40 section' will start from March 15 and the written/entrance test will be conducted on March 27 at 11 am in Higher Secondary Schools at Rajouri, Manjakot, Sunderbani, Moghla, Thanamandi, Chingus , Lamberi, Kotranka, Darhal, Nowshera , Kalakot and Peeri. As compared to private schools which focus on the developing skill, personality and future of the students, the government schools lack such motivation. Keeping in mind the overall development of poor students, who can't afford education in expensive private schools, the officials of the Education Department came out with this scheme and all the principals/ headmasters have been directed to start provisional admissions for 9th to 12th classes from April 1 positively.
