Jammu, Mar 20: Nami Dogri Sanstha Organised a Sangeet Sandhya, “Dr. Chanchal Sharma Te Unde Geet” at KL Sehgal Hall, Cultural Academy Complex, Jammu.
The Sangeet Sandhya was composed by Famous Composer Suraj Singh. In which Dr. Aziz Hajini, Secretary Cultural Academy was the Chief Guest. SK Kapoor, Assistant General Manager, State Bank of India, Jammu was the Guest of Honour. OP Sharma, Retd. Ex. President, J&K Bank was the guest of honour. Mohan Singh was the Special Guest. SS Anand Lehar, Renowned Urdu Short Storey Writer, Poet, Sr. Advocate, Supreme Court of India and Patron, Nami Dogri Sanstha presided over the Function and Advocate Dogra Harish Kaila, President of Sansthaalso shared the dais.
Dr. Chanchal Sharma was felicitated by all the dignitaries etc. and the title of 'Sangeet Shree' was also conferred upon her by Nami Dogri Sanstha.
The Chief Guest, Dr. Aziz Hajini, while speaking on the occasion appreciated the Songs of the Poetess and said she is highly qualified, besides this she is a Renowned Light & Folk Singer in the field of Music and performing since 1991 in Radio Kashmir Jammu.
The Guest of Honour, S. K. Kapoor, shared the experiences with the audience and also congratulated NDS (Regd.) for the cause of Music, Literature, Art & Culture.
OP Sharma while speaking on the occasion congratulated Dr. Chanchal Sharma and said that she is a Singer, Drama Artist and TV Announcer and also she is a good poetess having 3 books published in her credit. She has honoured with 5 Awards. |
