Believe it or not, 'reiki' fostered World T20 India win over Pak - My Story
S. S. Bijral IPS, IGP (Rtd) 3/20/2016 11:31:26 PM

It's sheer love of my
country Bharat Mata
that impelled me to do what I did during last night World T-20 match between two arch rivals India and Pakistan and to tell my fellow citizens that REIKI through its holistic power fostered the fantastic win over Pakistan.
He said he though had no love for cricket but yesterday for sheer hysteria created over match between two arch rivals India and Pakistan, a normal feature, he set himself to watch a 20 over each short game of cricket. With Pak scoring 118 runs when forced to bat with India opting to field winning toss, a modest target of defeating Pak by scoring 119 runs was set before Dhoni's team. When India was 23 for 3 wickets down with ace batsmen Rohit Sharma out for 10, Shikher Dhawan out for 6 and Suresh Raina clean bowled for duck, worries overtook completely. It was not my interest in cricket that mattered but it was the country's prestige that swayed me completely. I scratched my head to conclude that I should do what I had done for Saina Nehwal, my favourite shuttler, during her 18th November 2010 quarter final match during Asiad 2010 at Guangzhou China against Hong kong's Yin Pui Yip.
Out vacationing in Bungaluru with family, on 18th November 2010 evening I watched Saina's quarter final match in Asiad 2010 at Guangzhou China against Hong kong's Yin Pui Yip. Dominating from start Yin Pui swooped to win first game 21- 8. Disappointment was at its worst. Game ended nearly uncontested. Overwhelmed by the loss, I took to showering cosmic energy-Reiki- to Saina intuitively, with no experience of such a situation before. The situation upturned. Domineering, Saina avenged her defeat 21- 8 in the second game. Encouraged, I continued providing Reiki shower even during games interlude. In the third game Saina gave excellent show of her prowess. The score was 20 - 20 with Saina serving. At this crucial juncture Saina made a critical mistake. She served short. Yin Pui refusing to play won the match, winning third game 21-20.
The match outcome, disappointed ace shuttler's fan club. I was no exception. But the success at my intuited debut with Reiki for one playing match that too on TV, excited me to the peak. It opened vistas of holistic power Reiki reach.
Stupendous powers of Reiki have been well availed off ever since I underwent level 1 and 2 courses under Rani Venkat Traditional Reiki Master of Pune in 1995 & 1996 in camps organised at Udhampur, J&K, where I then functioned as Director cum Principal Police Training College. Even after retiring as IGP, I reached out to needy free of charges for sheer happiness. Precisely this is what ploughed me in Saina's Asiad 2010 quarter final encounter.
For power disruption, something we are struggling to correct, I missed late night quarter final match of Saina played in London 2012 Olympics. Excitement was high learning Saina had entered semi final. Confident of India's star shuttler's performance under cosmic umbrella and her success, on 2nd August Pardeep Dutta correspondent of e-channel Times Now was specially briefed beforehand about my experiment with holistic forces and results during Saina's Asiad 2010 Guangzhou China encounter against Hong Kong player and that same would be dabbled in during her London 2012 semi -final & other matches.
Unaware about Saina's semi final match schedule, I rushed to be before T.V. from bank when my wife informed on 3rd August that Saina semi final match was in progress and she having lost first game 21-13, was struggling half way through second game. Saina was trailing behind in second game. By the time I could adjust, the Chinese player, Yihan Wang world no.1, had clinched the 2nd game again 21-13 and the match in her favour.
On 4th August at 6pm, Saina's match for bronze medal started. Electricity failed but Gauvish J.E. rescued us timely. Connecting to Saina, provided swathes of Reiki. Saina lost well contested 1st game 18-21. Reiki shower continued uninterrupted with intensity of energy flow increasing in 2nd game. The score was 14-20. Saina saved four game points and score was 18-20 when Xin Wang of China trying to play Saina's shot suffered knee injury. She limped with pain. Xin signalled conceding the match. Saina was declared winner.
The remark, "I never believed that India could win a medal in badminton because the competition is tough" made by Saina after winning bronze, well attests the emotional burst of Harvir, her father. Once Wang Xin, world no. 2, conceded the match due to knee injury, Harvir watching the match with his colleagues burst into tears and said, "It's all because of the grace of Lord Venkateswara. Though it's not fair to think in this manner but because God wanted her to win, the other girl must have got injured." Harvir Nehwal's heart out- pouring is spiritual with a bearing worth incising.
Saina Nehwal, India's ace shuttler, added precious, much needed to country's scanty medal tally. Of course, we were joyous enough about. But the way, the medal made our kitty little heavier, was amazing. Because one who played the crucial role , did not desire its pocketing without ominous sweating.
Not able even to imagine India losing the match and whole country disappointing, I took to providing Reiki to Yuv Raj and Virat Kohli. It was not comfortable for me to do that over TV after having been operated for back chamber bleeding in left eye, I wore spects and viewing TV without spects continuously was not only uncomfortable but cumbersome. During Reiki its mandatory to remove all metals worn over the body. But I did remove my spects. The game started taking turn for the better. How the two played every one was witness to that. But Yuvraj got out at 24. It hit our nerves. Dhoni, the Indian Captain joined Virat. The two batsmen Virat and Dhoni continued to be the recepient of intense holistic Reiki shower through my hands. How the two and in particular Virat played I don't have to deal at that, I think. Virat was declared the 'Man Of The Match'. India won the match by 6 wickets.
That's Reiki - the holistic healer- my very dear compatriots. I have revealed the above with all humility. I did what I could with the best of the intentions for my beloved country. I am aware lot many of my fellow country citizens must have also prayed for success of the country and the same never go unheard. Why this only. Pakistanis after having sent their team to play at Eden Garden World T-20 match against India must have also prayed for their team. Not only that we are witness to Pakistan players offering prayers before start of match in the play field also. But as only one had to win, so we- India - won. I am proud at the win.
